Electro-Voice ND44

ND44, supercardioid dynamic drum/instrument mic

EV has been refining ND microphone technology for a long time, and its application to mounted drum mics has always been one of its strongest applications. The ND44 is a high-performance, large-diaphragm dynamic instrument microphone with a tight cardioid polar pattern, designed for excellent performance on drums and other rhythm section instrument. The ND44 capsule is tuned to deliver the aggressive and punctuated sound these instruments produce, as well as offer excellent isolation from the sound of other nearby instruments. Its rotating low-profile head and drum rim clamp make mic placement easy anywhere on a drum set, and its rugged build and tough windscreen protect it from errant stick strikes.
